In-Person Mending Lab @ Cura Co 3/24/22

Kiko and I had a great time sitting upstairs and mending together during the quiet moments over two weekends at her beautiful store last November in the Central District, Seattle.

We enjoyed ourselves so much, we dreamed of inviting you to join us.

On March 24, from 6:30-8:30 pm at @cura_collective we will open the doors for a modern, sustainable sewing circle.

We hope you’ll join us to sit around a long table, stitching and chatting while we repair things that are broken, or to strengthen areas that are weak, or to embellish things that need some extra beauty.

You bring your broken things - I’m bringing all the supplies. I’ll be happy to show you different ways to fix your garments or bags or stuffed animals, or whatever needs repair, and share the tools you need to do it.

This mending lab will be a fundraiser to benefit LGBTQIA+ Ukrainian 🇺🇦 refugees looking for compassion and care and a safe place to stay.
